Pininfarina’s all electric Battista hypercar is coming down under in 2022 in limited numbers.

CarAdvice has reported that 3 units of the 150 planned Battistas will be sent to Australia with a price tag close to $5 million each.

Melbourne’s Lorbek Luxury Cars will be responsible for distribution and servicing of the Battista and will be working with Get Electric and Electric Automotive Australia to provide charging infrastructure for the Pininfarina customers.

Pininfarina’s Battista is Italy’s most powerful production car producing an astonishing 1417 kW and 2300 Nm through four electric motors.

The 120 kWh Rimac sourced battery has a claimed driving range of 500 km despite the extreme power outputs.

Expected delivery of the Battista was scheduled for 2020 but it has been pushed back due to global pandemic. The Battista will arrive in Australia in early 2022.
