Let’s take a look at Lamborghini’s new creation for the extremely wealthy enthusiasts who can afford a track-only beast!
The monster has been developed by Lamborghini’s motorsport division, Squadra Corse and is named the SCV12. It will be powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 that pumps out over 830 horsepower (claimed by Lambo). That’s at least 60 more horsepower than the most powerful Aventador SVJ.
The SCV12 has a huge air scoop that forces extra air through the engine intake manifold. It also an entirely new body including braced front splitter, front and rear canards, finned side skirts, gaping rear diffuser and a hige rear supercar spoiler (get it?).
Thanks to the new redesigned body, the SCV12 will produce more downforce than a GT3 racer!
The SCV12 is based on an all new carbon-fibre monocoque structure and has shed 200 kg off by switching to rear-drive and ditching the driven front axle.
Owners are offered advanced driver training led by five-time Le Mans winner, Emanuele Pirro, with full support of Squadra Corse engineers.
No pricing details have been revealed yet and first deliveries will be happening later this year.
The hard-core Lambo will be making its offical world debut on June 30.
