Lotus is also jumping on the luxury SUV train on the electric vehicle platfrom with their new 2022 Lambda.
The dual-motor all electric SUV will deliver power to all four wheels. The entry level Lambda will produce 447 kW (around 600 horsepower) while the top variant will produce 560 kW (750 bhp) and a targetted range of 580 km. Watch out Tesla!
It’s been reported that technology from the Evija (Lotus’s electric hypercar) will be used to develop the Lambda to keep the weight down.
According to reports from Autocar, the Lambda will be built at the parent-company’s (Geely) new $1.31-billion factory in Wuhan China.
It’s estimated that Lambda will launch in mid-2022 with deliveries taking place in 2023.
